Praying for Your Business or Ministry

Praying for your business or ministry is a powerful opportunity that you can’t ignore.

Prayer is a necessary part of your daily routine and should be included as a part of your scheduled daily activities.

God is not sitting back as you live your own life. He wants to be involved in your personal and business life. He guides and directs you far beyond your plans or thoughts. He wants a close relationship with you in everything that you do.

Ephesians 3:20-21 says:

“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.”

What are you praying for?

Consider your goals and planned daily activities. Why is it important to complete your tasks? If it’s just about money, that’s not enough. Add something that you are passionate about. Make sure there are benefits for others and activities that matter to God. He cares about activities that benefit more than just you and what you care about. God cares about others. He cares about His Word. He cares about you getting to a place where you honor Him, even as you work, make money and go about your normal routine.

To get started, make a list of what you want to do.

What do you need to work out?

Who do you need to favor you?

What problems do you need to avoid?

What issues do you need to fix?

What needs to happen for you to be better at the things that are important to God and your business?

Pray for God to help you as He guides your steps. In the process, acknowledge God as the One who knows what’s best for you, your ministry and/or your business. Trust Him for the day-to-day activity and for your outcomes.
