David dealt with opposition before Goliath. Wild animals attacked when he was a shepherd. He protected his sheep with his life! So, Goliath was just another predator trying to steal from the people of God.
David learned to fight in the fields, so he was ready for victory on the battlefield.

- Hang with the right crowd. There is a synergy that happens when you align yourself with other like-minded people. You will find new resources, and get new ideas and concepts. Be authentic and open to learning From others.
- Do the work. You can’t succeed at your highest level and be average in your daily activity. Be willing to take responsibility, work hard, and pray fearlessly. Do what normal people do, and then go one step further. That type of commitment can’t be ignored. When you live by this principle, new opportunities are certain to find you.
- Be creative. Creativity is an amazing gift from God. Only He can create something from nothing. Use your creativity to add a unique touch to a situation that can’t be duplicated. You can make something average become something special. Creativity brings a difference that will always be in great demand.
- Brand Yourself. When people think of you, what comes to their mind? That is your brand. People don’t think of you based on who you think you are. They think of you based on what they see you do and hear you say. If you are habitually late, they see you as the person who is never on time. If you are always complaining or criticizing, they see you as someone who is somewhat difficult to be around. But, If you are encouraging and uplifting, they see you as a person who is a pleasure to be with. If you are known for offering solutions and bringing creativity and energy to an environment, they see you as someone who they enjoy being around and would recommend for a job or opportunity. Make it clear who you are, and what you represent. Then, set your mind on aligning everything in your life with the truth of who you really are. Your new brand will help create your new opportunities.
- Synergy matters. When you combine these principles with your own talent and skill and our God-given gifts and call you will set change in motion – mind and heart is touch to ignore!
